Sales Associate

Location: Melbourne Chadstone

Position summary

Pop Mart is crashing in Australia!!! It is exciting to announce that our first POP MART store will soon open in Melbourne Chadstone Shopping Centre, and we're now looking for a grounded Sales Associate to contribute our continuous expansion in Australia.

What you are up to

- Monitor and manage the daily operations including: sales, shelf arrangement, product display, cleanliness, stock take, inventory control.
- Handle transactions by cash, credit card, check or other forms of payments, issue invoices or receipts, complete transaction procedures
- Properly handle customer inquiries and their needs, provide high quality services and establish a long-term relationship with the customers.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational and time management skills.
- Assist the store manager to lead the team to achieve the goals set by the company. Experience gained within a retail store environment is advantageous.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Can-do positive attitude to all areas of work.
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Understands and demonstrates exceptional customer experience; has strong customer awareness.
- Great personality and excellent communication skills.
- Possesses a tenacious sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Strong inner drive to challenge yourself to achieve company and personal goals.
- Flexible availability during peak trade, expectation to work weekends, (extended trade following trading hours) Available to work on public holidays.
- Fluency in Mandarin would be a strong plus.

Assistant Store Manager

What you are up to

- Willing to be on the position of the second in charge and participate in ongoing leadership to assist the Store Manger.
- Assist the Store Manager in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor and manage team attendance and ensure accountability through coaching and counselling.
- Respond to Customer feedback, resolve issues, and always strive for continuous improvement of the in-store experience.
- Own the store visit operations and appearance checklist.
- Assist the Store Manager in participate accountability, operations, and communications skills.
- Set the tone in your store for a positive attitude and high energy.
- Assist to manage the weekly schedule and payroll budget and determine hiring needs.
- Lead and conduct interviews for prospective new team members.
- Own plan-o-grams and plan and lead merchandising of the store.
- Manage change orders and supply orders including signage and fixtures.


Requirements

-Demonstrate a level of leadership that comes from a minimum 2-3 years of retail/consumer sales experiences
- Reliability and flexible availability that may include days, evenings, holidays, and at least one weekend day
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that will inspire and motivate team members at all levels.
- Advanced computer skills including the ability to work with Microsoft Office programs and navigate the online systems.
- Able to prioritize, and use time management skills to keep ahead of daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
- Fluency in Chinese would be a strong plus.

Retail Manager

- Execute high-level in-the-moment coaching and development of your Assistant Manager, Supervisor, and Team/Shift Leads into all-star leaders.

Business Development

Position summary

POP MART Australia is now looking for a Business development Representative to expand and manage the retail operations and store leasing throughout Australia.


What you up to


- Brand Development in Australia Market.
- Research for expanding plan and work for branding strategy.
- Evaluate potential locations.
- Search solution for activation in different off-line retail channels.
- Liaison with landlord and make deal ( Including contracted sites, marketing opportunities and manage cost )
- Lease confirmation ( Commercial & legal terms )
- Initiation which includes designs and layout coordination; construction submission and approval; fit out, sign off for trade, etc. In developing a brand new off-line retail ( Store / POP UP / Roboshop )


Requirements


- At least 3 year work experience in retail leasing and operations.
- Familiar with retail leasing marketing and expansion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A strong capabilities in combination with a hand-on attitude.
- Solid Microsoft excel, power point and data analysis skills.
- Flexibility of traveling into different states.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
