15 Oct 2024 marks the third anniversary of POP MART Australia and the launch of its online shop. As a token of gratitude, POP MART Australia organised an exclusive one-day online event for the consumers across Australia.

When the clock struck midnight, not only two special gifts but also three exclusive limited-edition figurines were launched at POP MART Australia’s online shop. “We’re impressed that many fans placed their orders for the exclusive offers once the event began at midnight, and we achieved good business today. We’d like to thank them for their support these three years.” said Samson Su, Marketing Manager of POP MART Australia and New Zealand.

On 15 Oct 2021, POP MART Australia launched the website for Australian consumers, symoblising its official penetration into Australia. Since then, Australian consumers can purchase their favourite POP MART art toys anytime through the online shop.

On 17 November of the same year, Sydney’s World Square welcomed the first POP MART Robo Shop in Australia, and Australian consumers purchased POP MART blind boxes at a physical location for the first time. Many Sydneysiders lined up that day for this important moment. And this site soon became one of the must-visit location in Sydney.

One month later, Melbourne fans were able to enjoy the fun of shaking a blind box and guessing the figurine inside at POP MART Australia’s first pop-up shop at Highpoint opened on 18 Dec. Because of this physical location, many POP MART fans across Australia flew to Melbourne and prepared Christmas gifts from the various art toys available at Highpoint pop-up.

“We’re grateful to have our fans’ support at every milestone since our inception. In the past three years, we’ve shared a lot of joy with them alongside our business development, and we’ve been constantly improving our service as a token.” Samson shared.

2024 is a remarkable year for POP MART Australia. In April, it organised its first-ever fansign event by collaborating with AYAN, the creator of DIMOO, one of the top characters at POP MART. Sydney’s Macquarie Centre received one of its busiest daily traffic in the year due to the large crowds who wished to get AYAN’s autograph and purchase the Australian-limited DIMOO-Kangaroo: Cosy Dream Figurine.

On 28 September, POP MART Australia expanded its business into Gold Coast, the fourth city in Australia that has a POP MART store. This also marks POP MART’s tenth store in Australia, further strengthening its presence in the market.

“We will continue to enhance every aspect of our business for our fans. With better service and product offering, we believe more Australians can appreciate the charm of blind boxes and have fun in the world of art toys.” Samson further added.

At present, POP MART Australia has ten physical stores, 18 Robo Shops, and one e-commerce channel for local consumers to buy art toys. Since establishment, it strives to light up passion and bring joy for Australian consumers.
